Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Villa Emma ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website. We are the data controller for the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
When you submit a booking request we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), travel dates, number of guests and any message. We do not collect payment card details on this website.
Why we use it
We use this information solely to review your request, check availability, calculate your stay, contact you to confirm or decline, and manage your reservation. The legal basis is to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running the villa.
Cookies
We use only essential, functional cookies: one remembers your chosen language; another keeps the owner dashboard secure during a session. We use no advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies.
Storage & sharing
Booking requests are stored privately on our own server and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. Limited service providers (e.g. email) may process data on our behalf. The embedded map is served by OpenStreetMap.
Retention
We keep booking enquiries only as long as needed to handle your stay and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and may object to processing. To exercise these rights, or to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, contact us using the details below.
